1. What is the 10% HDFC Bank Credit Card and Debit Cards Offer ("Offer")?
a) Offer valid only for Prime Members.
b) Offer on payment with HDFC Bank Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Debit Card EMI and Credit Card EMI
c) Minimum transaction amount INR 5,000 ; net of other discounts
d) Offer and Maximum Savings as below:
i. For Credit Card, Credit Card EMI and Debit Card EMI transactions: 10% Instant Discount, Maximum instant discount per card INR 1,500
ii. For Debit Card (Non-EMI) transactions: 10% Instant Discount, Maximum instant discount per card INR 650.
iii. The maximum discount per Debit Card is INR 1500 across Debit Card (Non-EMI) and Debit Card EMI transactions. For example if you make a Debit Card EMI purchase of Rs. 10,000 in the first transaction, you will get an instant discount of Rs.1000. In your second transaction, if you make a regular Debit Card (Non-EMI) purchase of Rs.20,000, you will get Rs.500 as instant discount. The initial 1000 and the next 500 rupees together make up the maximum instant discount of Rs.1500 on Debit cards.
e) Offer period –

f) Any cancelled order(s) will not be eligible for the offer and the refund amount of such order will be adjusted against the instant discount amount.
2. How can I avail this offer?
Shop as usual with your HDFC Bank Debit Card or Credit Card to pay. As long as INR 5,000 or more is charged to your HDFC Bank Debit Card or Credit Card while making an eligible purchase on Amazon.in/Amazon App, you will get an Instant Discount on the purchase.
3. What is the minimum transaction size for the discount for the duration of the event?
The minimum transaction amount to avail the offer is INR 5,000 in a single transaction on Amazon.in, net of buybacks, refunds and cancellations.
4. What is the maximum instant discount that I can avail?
Maximum Savings as below:
i. For Credit Card, Credit Card EMI and Debit Card EMI transactions: 10% Instant Discount, Maximum instant discount per card INR 1,500
ii. For Debit Card (Non-EMI) transactions: 10% Instant Discount, Maximum instant discount per card INR 650.
iii. The maximum discount per Debit Card is INR 1500 across Debit Card (Non-EMI) and Debit Card EMI transactions. For example if you make a Debit Card EMI purchase of Rs. 10,000 in the first transaction, you will get an instant discount of Rs.1000. In your second transaction, if you make a regular Debit Card (Non-EMI) purchase of Rs.20,000, you will get Rs.500 as instant discount. 5. What if I cancel my order?
The Offer is applicable for a successful transaction. If Instant Discount is availed on any purchase, and the transaction is subsequently cancelled, the refund amount of such orders will be post adjusting the instant discount amount availed on the purchase.
Where the customer is eligible for cashback, and the transaction is cancelled/returned, such order would no longer be eligible for the cashback.
6. Would I get the Bank offer even if I make a part payment using my Amazon Pay Balance?
Yes, you would get Instant Discount but only on the amount charged on your HDFC Card. Also, to avail instant discount, your HDFC Card should be charged for a minimum amount of INR 5,000. For example, if total transaction amount is INR 8000, and INR 1,000 is paid using Amazon Pay Balance and INR 7,000 is paid using HDFC Card, then instant discount would be given on INR 7,000 and not INR 8,000. Similarly, if INR 7,000 is paid using APay balance and INR 1,000 is paid using HDFC Card, then customer would not get any discount because the amount paid using HDFC Card is less than INR 5,000.
7. Can I place multiple orders using HDFC Credit or Debit cards and still get the instant discount?
Yes, you can avail instant discount on multiple orders till you exhaust the limit of Rs.1500 on Credit Cards, Credit and Debit EMIs, and Rs.650 on Debit Cards. However, please note that each transaction must meet the minimum value of Rs.5000 for you to get the 10% instant discount.
8. Is Discount under this Offer applicable on both Credit and Debit cards?
Yes, the discount is available on both Credit and Debit Cards
9. Can I avail discount on EMI?
Yes, the discount under this Offer is also applicable on Credit Card and Debit Card EMI
10. Can I get this offer with Exchange offer or No Cost EMI?
Yes, the offer is valid even if you buy with Exchange or No Cost EMI or both.
11. I purchased an eligible item but still did not get Instant Discount. Why ?
For purchases made using “Card on delivery” transactions and Net Banking transactions, you will not get the benefit of the instant discount.
Please note that the facility for payment through cards on delivery is subject to availability of the card accepting machine at the time of delivery and the same cannot be guaranteed. In order to not miss the benefits under the Offer, we highly recommend that you pay with your HDFC card online at the time of placing the order.
Net Banking transactions are NOT included in this Offer.
12. Are Amazon Business customers eligible for this promotion?

- The Instant Discount would not be applicable on payment made by Cardholders using the 'Card on Delivery' payment option.
- The Offer is also valid on EMI (equated monthly installment) transactions, No Cost EMI transactions and Exchange offers
- In the event the order is returned or cancelled by the Cardholder, seller or Amazon Seller Services Private Limited, for any reason whatsoever, and subsequently the order / purchase transaction value falls below INR 5000/-, the order will not qualify for this Offer and the participation of the Cardholder will be deemed withdrawn.
- If Instant Discount is availed on any purchase, and the transaction is subsequently cancelled, the refund amount of such orders will be post adjusting the instant discount amount availed on the purchase.
- Amazon reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice, without liability, and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these Offer Terms or to replace, wholly or in part, this Offer by another offer, whether similar to this Offer or not.
- Nothing contained herein amounts to a commitment by Amazon or the Bank to conduct further, similar or other offers.
- The above Offer is by way of a special offer and nothing contained herein shall prejudice or affect the terms and conditions of the card member agreement (if any executed by the Bank). The terms of the above schemes shall be in addition to and not in derogation of the terms contained in the card member agreement.
- Delinquent and over-limit Bank's credit Card members will not qualify for this Offer.
- This Offer is not valid on corporate or commercial cards issued by Bank.
- All disputes between the Cardholders and the Bank will be resolved inter se and Amazon will not (nor will be liable or obliged to) mediate or resolve any dispute or disagreement between the Cardholders and the Bank.
- This Offer cannot be availed on:
(i) purchase of the ineligible / excluded products mentioned above;
or (ii) purchase by Cardholder using any card other than the Card (mentioned above).
- Under no circumstances, will the discount being offered under this Offer be settled in cash in lieu thereof by Amazon.
- By participating in this Offer, every Cardholder expressly agrees that Amazon or any of its affiliates will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever that a Cardholder may suffer, directly or indirectly, in connection with this Offer, including but not limited to that associated with his/her use or delivery or misuse of any product purchased on Amazon.in.
- These Offer Terms are governed by the laws of India and the courts at New Delhi will have exclusive jurisdiction over any matters/disputes arising out of or in relation to these Offer Terms.
- The Cardholders are not bound in any way to participate in this Offer. Any participation is voluntary and the Offer is being made purely on a best effort basis.
- Any person availing this Offer shall be deemed to have accepted these Offer Terms.
