Installing this particular type of AC is so easy that many people do it by themselves. This AC is from the Kaze Plus series of air conditioners from Hitachi. It weighs around 50 kg and has pre-coated aluminum fins. There is also a digital panel on the front of the unit where you can control the air conditioner's settings.

This Window AC has a cooling capacity of 1.5 tons. The term 'ton' in refrigeration refers to the amount of cooling power a ton of ice would provide when heated over a 24-hour period. This is equal to 5275W of power. The air flow cools the room at 450 cubic feet per minute which is powered by a rotary compressor.
The Hitachi RAW518KUD uses Auto Climate technology for its cooling which means that the AC provides cool air based on the outside temperature. This results in efficient cooling and helps you save more on your electricity bills.
This AC has an auto restart feature where the AC will switch on to its operating settings automatically after a power outage. If the AC does not receive a signal from a remote over a certain period of time, the AC will power down.
The Hitachi RAW518KUD has a Koukin Filter which is a unique anti-bacterial filter that prevents the growth of bacteria inside your air conditioner. It also ensures optimal performance of your air conditioner every time. It also has a filter clean indicator which notifies you when to clean the filter through an LED.

This AC also has a Dry Mode where the fan runs at a slow speed and the compressor is switched on for a short period in large cycles to help remove humidity from the air. The Powerful Mode consumes more electricity to cool the air at very low temperatures quickly. It also has an Auto Saver Mode which saves energy.
This air conditioner needs 230 Volts at 50 MHz to function optimally and consumes only 1575 Watts of electricity.
