this product is really good. i am very happy with its speed. earlier i was using seagate which is also good. but i like the sleek look of this toshiba hard disk. it looks cool and its speed is fast for transferring data.good product and quick delivery from flipkart.

Initial Impresiions. Full review later.

Bought this product from TabTree. It was delivered in its retail box which has a secure packing, wrapped in a plastic air cushioned wrapper and a conventional flipkart box over it. I am not sure how effective this kind of wrapping is for a delicate item like a hard disk. Anyway the hard disk worked fine the first time i plugged in. There was supposed to be some setup program in the hard disk according to the manual but I didn't find any.

DO NOT BUY. SPEND MORE PLEASE. DON'T BUY THIS.

This became corrupt within a month of purchase. I had 600 gb worth of important files, photos, TV Shows, Animes, Movies etc. It took me weeks to recover the data myself. Thanks to a tool called "TestDisk". And the copying speeds are very ordinary. Spend more and get a better product. Your backup is very precious and trust me, data recovery is very expensive.
