Speed is not as expected

Pros :
1). Superb product build quality.
2). Nice look
3). Easy to carry

Cons :

1). Speed is slower for a 3.0 USB, I got above 80MBps for single file, and ~50MBps for Multiple file transfer.

worth it!!

an awesome product by transcend keeping the price in mind...esp flipkart is awesome as genuine products always... for 8100 its a damn good HD, has a premium and rugged feel and transfer speeds are good...if u want rough use and all this is the best bet

Transcend 2T Portable hard disk

I have used Transcend products since very long from 1Gb Pendrive to now 2T Hard disk. And I have 6 various brands of portable hard disks with me. This is one of the best to rely on to take care of fall from a table. Though many shoppers have told me that Transcend doesn't a manufacturer of hard disk; how can they give assurance of quality. I do not know, but it has never failed with me. I will recommend it to others. Except it doesn't have any free backup software like in HP & Verbatim.

The Transcend StoreJet is very good for those who love smart and simplicity it is very powerful and it comes with three layer protection. The copy speed is very good works fine with low power and storing speed is dam good. i like it very much.

you have better options other than this

not a nice product at all... sometimes it connects and sometimes it dont and also the data transfer speed in not upto the mark. The buttons provided in it is the main cause of all problems. If you want a hassle free device then this not a good product to buy

Amazing digital repository

Functionally this seems to be a superb product. Copied my entire movie collection with an average speed of 20 - 25 MBps without a hitch. The lower speed could be because my computer doesn't have a USB 3.0 port. Great value for money even if you do not use its other features like file encryption and back-up. Looks sturdy and rugged. Also timely delivery of the product from Flipkart helped.

Only scope of improvement for this product is its size and physical form factor. Could the manufacturers...

Love it!

First, the packing was right up to the mark and the delivery was before promised date, yesterday.

Second, the HD is lovely.

The feel and the overall look is so premium and re assuring.It's light and is a perfect plug and play experience.

The best part is the data transfer speed. My whole music collection (25 GB) done in around 7 mins. My entire work backed up in 3 mins. I don't know if I want anything more from a HD.

I am yet to figure out the utilities included, but just as a HD itself,...
